Pictures
Now the bad boys and girls are even stealing pictures on the web. To prevent any possible trouble,and to further discourage robots from indexing here, a simple password has been placed on our online albums. Just drop either of us a note if you need the password.

I've also organized the "big" pictures so their easier to store and retrieve. Even with high speed (sorta) Internet it took a couple days to get all the big pictures uploaded. These big pictures are the main picture -- the little ones in the album are thumbnails primarily for Emailing. They're created automatically by the camera.

I've installed Google's Picasa2 - wow! That's a great program. It's helping a lot to organize and sort all the pictures. I expect I'll be able to integrate some of the Picasa data features in to the webpict program I've written to create the online albums. The Starred pictures are saved in an ini file and other info is saved inside the picture itself. I can see a bit of an issue developing between the big and snapshot pictures. We'll be using Picasa on the main images but this online album is built from the thumbnails. It's always something.

Even the album handing in the XP system is helping. That made it trivial to zoom through a folder of old apartment cam pictures and delete all the blank images.
